My favorite session so far has definitely been Ensemble OrQuesta's production of Händel's music drama Semele. The minimalist set and costumes allowed the lighting to shape the drama and contrast on stage. Capturing this production of a mythological story was pure joy — not only because of the final images, but also due to the ethereal ambiance created by Händel's music.

Photographing at the Lanzarote Opera Festival was a completely unique experience — the volcanic cave of Jameos del Agua provided an extraordinary backdrop for the stage. Since shooting during performances wasn’t possible, I had to adapt my approach. Instead of capturing the characters’ emotions in action, I focused on the singers' expressions in the moments just before they began and just after they finished performing. The result was something distinct and deeply personal, which I’m grateful to be able to share here.
